We are moving to GH Pages

We have started the migration from the clutter of this wordpress site to a cleaner simple site on GH Pages.

It’s taking a little time as we are cleaning up the content and making it more efficient to publish.

We’ll be done soon but in the meantime, the notes for the latest podcast episodes are also put up on the site which is hosted at a temporary location.

The new episodes are

#27 – Daniel Compton

#26 – David Nolen

This page will be removed once the content has been transitioned

Episode #25 – Fulcro with Tony Kay @fulcrologic

Episode #24 – Enter the Dragan (aka @draganrocks)

Where we learn all about the expressive power of Clojure running at the speed of raw machine code on CPUs and GPUs.

Main discussion – Dragan dragan

Finally, a few words of advice from Dragan for intrepid Clojurians:

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend any Java-specific or even Python specific book for ML, since all that I have seen concentrate on the easy part (how to call specific functions) but are superficial on the hard part (understanding particular ML techniques).

The most important advice: there is no way around the math… Moderate understanding of at least calculus and linear algebra is a must.
